Facility Checks
Going away on a vacation? Have an empty property? The Wellington Police Department offers security checks to businesses and residents within the Village of Wellington. Complete and submit the Security Check form.
Fingerprinting
You can visit the police department 24/7 for fingerprints. We just ask that you call us at (440) 647-2244 before hand to verify that the jail is currently not in use. Payment can be accepted via cash or check and you must have the ORC reason for your application. This can't be processed without the ORC reason for the check.
Golf Cart Inspection
Golf cart inspections are performed at the Wellington Police Department located at 147 E. Herrick Ave. Wellington, OH 44090 24/7, preferably conducted during daytime hours. There is a $10 fee that must be paid via cash or check.
Vehicle Lockouts
The Wellington Police Department can assist with vehicle lock outs. To request an officer, please call our dispatch line at
A liability waiver must be completed once the officer arrives.
Ride Alongs
Yes, the Wellington Police Department does offer ride alongs. A liability waiver is required.
