Our Team:

- Full-Time & Part Time Police Officers: Our officers are highly trained professionals who ensure the safety and security of our community through proactive policing and dedication to public service.


- Auxiliary Unit: Support our full-time officers during community events, emergencies, and special operations, making a significant impact on the safety and well-being of Wellington.
 
- Full-Time & Part Time Dispatchers: Be part of our dispatch team, the critical link between the community and our officers, providing essential support in emergency situations.

Benefits: 

- Pay scale: $25.39-$33.01 depending on experience 

- Initial uniforms provided 

- $1,100 Annual Uniform Allowance 

- Great health benefits or buyout options

Qualifications:

- Must be a U.S. citizen
- High school diploma or equivalent 
- Valid Ohio driver’s license
- Must pass background checks and drug test 

- Valid O.P.O.T.A Certification
